Tradition speaks that our house is the reflection of our soul. For a fact, a clean, pristine and well organized house has a wondrous impact on our mental well being. Adversely a dirty messy den is equally unwelcoming. Sad, that factors like spacious apartment, prestigious address and an enviable city view don’t always go hand in hand. Rather, you got to struggle to manage to have at least one of those desires fulfilled.

Recently, I was shifting to this tiny little apartment in a posh locale. Though, pretty cute and comfy with this amazing little front porch, what really concerned me were the walls. Painted in boring pale monotones, they were quite disappointing. So, I had to do something to transform my humble accommodation agreeable.

Performing a little research for a art nouveau, to do that magic to my walls, I came across this fabulous idea and I was absolutely smitten at the first sight. I knew it that it was going to do exactly that bit to the walls as I wished. It was this new concept of modular wall panels aka-customized wall tiles. To get them designed by the expert interior designers was totally out of question with my limited funds. So I chalked out this way to improvise it a bit to fit my budget.

I got this collection of travel pictures, which I keep collecting from frequent travelers. These are mostly of places that I wish to visit in my lifetime. This fascinated me with a beam of hope and motivation. Not certain about about the fulfillment of these wishes in near future though. My brilliant plan for now was to turn the things around a bit and have them visit me instead. I know it may sound weird to many, but it serves as an immense source of inspiration to me. The the sheer thought of how unique and completely amazing the wall art would be made my heart jump in excitement.

How to Have Your Walls Customized?

1. I pulled out all such snaps and even post cards, with picture that I thought would look great on the walls.
2. Next, I had my target walls measured up with a simple measuring tape (you may even take the help of some friends).
3. Check online for websites that do custom-printed-tiles and inquire about their rates. Look for suitable rates and terms. There are quite a few of them out there. While some are kinda expensive, there are also ones that are pretty reasonable too.

You Could Also Design Wall Titles Yourself

If you are the talented ones, you could even paint these tiles with some original artworks using ceramic paints. Rest assured, whatever the result be, it would be anything but boring.
