Benefits of Garden Rocks

  • Minimal Maintenance: Ground covers like shrubs and vines require regular maintenance and constant caring such as watering, fertilizing, trimming, etc. Fabric or plastic covers, and bark chips also need regular maintenance. However, rock-based covers don’t require constant replacing and maintenance.
  • More Durable: Unlike organic or living ground covers, garden rockscan survive in harsh conditions and stand up heavy use. Stone or rock ground covers last longer than any other ground covers.
  • Doesn’t Decompose: Ground covers such as bark chips decompose as soon as they’re exposed to rain or snow. With rock ground covers, you need not worry about this problem.
  • Doesn’t Invite Bugs: When you use bark chips or wood chips, they decompose and attract termites, the rips, or other types of insects. Rock garden reduces the risk of bug problem, as they don’t decompose.
